Welcome to the HKUST VTOL UAV group led by Prof. Fu Zhang and Prof. Shaojie Shen. We are a part of HKUST Robotics Institute.
Our group develop technologies related to convertible vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from a robotics perspective and ultimately achieve their efficient and autonomous operation. Our research focus on various aspects, including modeling, control, navigation and learning.
